Terms And Conditions

These Booking Terms and Conditions contain important information. It is necessary that you read them carefully and understand them. The Booking Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding contract between Nepal Trekking Home and you for the services provided by Nepal Trekking Home and set out the basis of your legal relationship with Nepal Trekking Home.

Booking Payment
Nepal Trekking Home needs to know the fixed dates on which the client has planned for individual/group journeys in order to make reservations for hotel accommodation, (domestic) flights etc. At least 6 weeks before of departure date the journey has to be confirmed to Nepal Trekking Home. Giving names and dates of birth and passport information of the clients, with the flight details. For the destinations Bhutan, Tibet, we need full bio-data of the clients with a copy of their passport and photo. After we accepted your booking we will send you a confirmation letter. At least 40 days before departure the full amount for the flight tickets and a 50% advance payment for the overland-program have to be received on our bank account. The rest payment has to be received on our bank account at least 20 days before departure. Failure of following this condition results in charging interest and cancellation costs. You will receive a confirmation of payment with voucher for the program agreed upon as from the beginning to the end of services.

Cancellation
Within the terms of these agreement clients are not allowed to change the program themselves. Nepal Trekking Home reserves the right to change, postpone or cancel any portion of the itinerary to suit local requirements. If a tour should be cancelled, this can be done without any extra costs at least one month before the date that the start of the trekking/tour was planned. If you need to cancel in less than a month, Nepal Trekking Home has to charge you the costs we have to make for canceling our earlier reservation. Within one month till 7 days before clients arrival 5% per booking/ within 2 days to 7 days 15% per booking/ within 48 hours 25% per booking. If you need change a tour/hotel- and flight reservation within 1 week we are forced to charge 15% of the total amount. Liability
Nepal Trekking Home is a Destination Management company for the executive Tour operators from all over the world and is therefore, under any circumstances, not responsible or liable for any unforeseen situations like, accident, damage, loss, delay, inconvenience or personal injury or illness, excess luggage charges, losses incurred by rerouting, inclement weather, floods, political disruptions, strikes, riots and other disturbances are personal expenditure.

Price
Prices are valid as mentioned per offer. Nepal Trekking Home reserves the right to change the prices due to possible considerable increased costs by changes in the rates of foreign currencies, in local taxes or permits, in local price levels or due to certain local government measures

Insurance
Every Staff of Nepal Trekking Home is insured but who is co-operating within this agreement as well as every tourist who is traveling within this agreement needs to have travel insurance and need to have all the documents from your insurance company.

Privacy
In order to collect information from you to making a booking through Nepal Trekking Home we ask many questions to obtain the necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will be disclosed for any other purposes.

Children
A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.

Complains
if you have a complaint about the trekking or tour you have to make it known to our tour leader or guide at the earliest opportunity he will take the appropriate action.
